Chitosan (120 caps) from Weider

chitosan is a food additive that is produced from the shells of shellfish (crabs, shrimp), i.e. it is a “natural product”.

Chitosan is a kind of fiber itself contains no calories, as it is not dissolved and is not digested in the human gut. Once in the gastrointestinal tract, it turns into a jelly-like substance having a high lipophilicity (ability to bind fat) and like a sponge absorbing the fat, one gram of chitosan binds to seven grams of fat. Chitosan molecules are positively charged, and fat – negative. Under the action of forces of attraction of oppositely electrically charged particles, the fat received with food eaten by you, forms with chitosan insoluble complex that is not absorbed and excreted, i.e. passes through the gastrointestinal tract transit. Thus, it is eaten by you fat is just not absorbed and not converted into subcutaneous fat deposits.

Chitosan has the unique ability to bind fat in the digestive tract before they have time to be absorbed. In addition to absorbing and binding fat, which promotes weight loss, chitosan has the property of inhibiting the synthesis of LDL (low density lipoprotein) and increase synthesis of HDL (high density lipoproteins): good and bad cholesterol, respectively.

Chitosan from Weider belongs to a new generation of drugs-blockers. The difference between these products from ordinary fat burners is that they prevent the formation of fat, allowing fatty acids to communicate and be deposited in fat depots.

Chitosan from Weider can be safely applied in any weight loss program and/or in the case of excessive consumption of fatty and carbohydrate foods.
